WEEK 50 "Moo moos and much more"

This week in Cuba-leah or Hia-leah... I dont know which one fits better we saw lots of great things happen because of mighty prayers.

This first story is about my sweet companion. I am thrilled to be her companion. Sister Ward has some pretty powerful faith. Okay moving on to the story... Hialeah received a Book of Mormon refferal named Tomas a couple months ago but it was very hard to stay in contact with him. However one night he told us that we could go over. We only had 25 minutes to teach him the importance of why we go to church before we had to run off to catch the bus. The spirit was very strong and he told us that he felt it too. It was in that moment that the spirit told me that I needed to invite him to be baptized. He said "claro que si." ("Of course!") And we all left that moment feeling amazing about the 23 of February. As we were traveling home Sister Ward told me that morning she prayed really hard that we would be able to set a friend with a baptismal date. I know that God truly does answer prayers. Most times it isn't always immediate but I promise that the answers always do come.

Mormon 9:21
Behold, say unto you that whoso believeth in Christ, doubting nothing, whatsoever he shall ask the Father in the name of Christ it shall be granted him; and this promise is unto all, even unto the ends of the earth.

Sorry family I dont a lot of time but know that I love you and that God Lives and has a perfect plan for you to fulfill, realize, and accomplish. Although we are very imperfect beings living in a very imperfect world our Heavenly Father has provided a perfect plan which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Look unto him and doubt not.

Les quiero mucho! Que tenga buena semana:) bendiciones a todos.

Highlights:
-we went knocking with the other sisters in our apartment this week and the cutest Columbian lady gave us some handmade jewelry... it was huge gold hoops. I think President Garns would die if I wore them;)
-we went to the dollar store and bought some good old Moo Moo's to keep things exciting around here

Low lights:
-Sister Spencer lives with us and she is new to the mission. She came home the other day with marks on her neck because she had gotten whip lash from accidentally riding her bike into a palm tree.
