WEEK 52 "Ya Le Diste Una Ya Le Diste Dos"

This week has been rainy and a little chilly for Florida but hey I dont think I can complain. Hows all the amazing snow back home???

This week we had interviews with President and as usual they were amazing. I know every missionary is convinced that they have the best mission president but let me just tell ya'll, we scored the lottery with ours. When it was my turn I literally thought he was going to side bump me like we were on a soccer team and we just scored. I guess he was pretty excited to talk about all the amazing miracles we have been seeing. My mission presidents have been such a guiding light for me. I want to create a family like they have one day. I want to continue to dedicate all that I have to the Lord like they do. As I was talking to Sister Garns before the interview, I asked her what is one of the biggest things she has learned from this mission. She told me that sometimes we just need to let go. Let go of our own ways, and trust in the Lord.

I love a scripture in 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." During the past year, I have found that through His grace I have become changed. As I have let go of my own ways I have found that things are just better and easier in the long run. As I reflect on my mission so far, I can see a beautiful canvas of color, details and excitement that God has painted into my very being. Every heart ache and every feeling of exquisite joy has created a breath taking view.  As we yield our wandering hearts to Him and sacrifice our own wills and desires we will be filled with bursts of color and light. And the author of this artwork is Chirst. Through Him we truly are more than conquerors. I love the gospel and I know whatever is withholding us from being our best selves can be resolved and healed through His perfect Grace.

*Dale dale dale
No pierdas el tino
Porque si lo pierdes
Pierdes el camino

Ya le diste una
Ya le diste dos
Ya le diste tres
Y tu tiempo se acabo

Es muy tonto Se parece a su papá
