WEEK 64 "Toilet paper stands. 3 for $10... casual occurrence in Miami"

Feliz pascua! (Happy Easter)

Sooooo nothing much has changed around here. Just the same adventures but don't worry Miami always keeps it interesting.

This morning we were driving home and this old cowboy Latin man was selling big rolls of toilet paper. Man, I just wanted to pull over and buy some to applaud him for his genuine entrepreneurial efforts. We didn't have much time but I will keep you updated on how it goes down! He was so cute and man is life hard here in Miami. But I know that we are all children of God and one day we will be rewarded how we react to the hands we have been dealt. I love my Savior and I know he lives.

This past Sunday I was reminded that He is not only the Savior of the world but also my personal Savior. I love the mission because as I come closer and closer to Him my weaknesses are also made more and more evident. I am very imperfect but I am grateful for my imperfections. They make me more humble and submissive. I cannot tell you how much joy has come to my life through studying the gospel of Jesus Christ inside and out. If you are wondering what your purpose is or who you are as a child of God please look up every scripture and every gospel talk on the doctrine of Christ. This perfect gospel includes the atonement of Jesus Christ at the center and He has completely transformed who I am. I can say that the old things have passed away and I am new through Him who makes me whole.

He lives. And for that reason, the Lord has called us to His work. If he didn't rise from the dead I wouldn't be here on my mission and there would be no purpose in this life. Missionary work is everything to me. It has brought me the deepest joy I have ever felt in my life: Deeper than any vacation to Paris or ski turns in fresh powder. He is the reason for everything that I do. My love for him enters my body as soon as I wake up and doesn't leave until I fall asleep. He is truly my best friend and walks with me every step of the way. He lives and for that reason, we can live forever.
